On the 11th, SM Entertainment, aespa’s agency, told OSEN regarding the dating rumors surrounding Winter, “They are groundless.”
The agency stated, “The person who spread the photos attempted to contact a media outlet for monetary gain and tried to communicate with us directly. However, when the media outlet declined to facilitate the report for monetary purposes, the photos were maliciously circulated. We will take legal action.”
The netizen in question claimed that the clothes worn by the woman in the photos were the same as those worn by Winter in a challenge video. Additionally, they argued that the voice of the man wearing a mask in a phone call resembled Jungwon’s, fueling the dating rumors.
However, after the rumors gained traction online, the post was deleted.
